Berlin University of the Arts is currently seeking applicants for a PhD position with two thirds of the regular weekly hours of work in the salary class 13 (Entgeldgruppe TV-L 13 Berliner Hochschulen). The position ends December 31st 2013.

The Graduate School for the Arts and Sciences at Berlin University of the Arts is an interdisciplinary and international post-graduate program, geared toward highly qualified artists and scholars who deem the communication and exchange with other disciplines as a prerequisite for their work. The Graduate School is funded by Einstein Foundation Berlin.

Tasks: Research; development and positioning of the Graduate School.

Profile: Relevant degree in humanities, economics or law, completed with distinction; dissertation project on curricula and strategies of positioning graduate programs in the arts, nationally and internationally. The dissertation project may already be advanced and supervised at another university.
