The composer, guitarist and singer Erick Manana is not only an old hand of Madagascar’s music scene. Also in France – for example 2013 in the legendary Paris Olympia – the audience rewarded him with standing ovations. Even though Manana cherishes the musical heritage of his homeland Madagaskar, he remains open for other music genres and cultures. He consorts with Jenny Fuhr, who is a classically trained violinist and flautist from Cologne, and together they conquer new frontiers.
The concert is recorded by WDR and broadcasted live on WDR3.
