Our alumno Ketan Bhatti plays with the contemporary chamber orchestra “Trickster Sound Kollektiv“ in the framework of “Modara - Fest für zeitgenössische Musik“ at Heimathafen Neukölln.

The “Trickster Sound Kollektiv“, former “Divan of the Continents”, is a contemporary chamber orchestra. Its music reflects on questions: about communality; about new soundscapes. It transcends the border between composition and improvisation. Questions, such as: “What is one’s own?” and “What is the other?,” are contested in order to conceive the entanglements of genres and cultures, and the ambiguity of identities.
