Salon für Ästhetische Experimente #1
with Sebastian Quack (alumnus) and Jennifer Aksu (guest)
What does the failure of the culture of participation mean for art, politics and society? Can we still learn from the failure of participatory processes or is it already too late to manage to keep the idea of participation?
In an experimental format of dialogue, urbanist Jennifer Aksu and the game designer Sebastian Quack will discuss moments, dimensions and reasons why participation fails with Berlin-based “participation-experts” Eva Plischke (theater maker, Turbopascal), Dominik Rzepka (journalist, ZDF-Hauptstadtstudio) and Mareike Witt (initiator 100% Tempelhofer Feld).
The Salon für Ästhetische Experimente is co-funded by the Einstein Foundation Berlin.
