Important information for course participants
General information, e.g. who can participate, how to register and contact details.
The German language course programme at the UdK is primarily aimed at international applicants who
- have been admitted to study at the UdK and
- have to submit proof of German language proficiency at B2 or C1 level to the Enrolment and Examination Office in order to enrol.
Please note that from the 2025-26 winter semester onwards, temporary enrolment will no longer be possible at the UdK. Proof of German language proficiency at B2 or C1 level (depending on your degree programme) must be submitted for enrolment.
Due to limited capacity, the UdK Berlin is currently unable to guarantee all international applicants with admission a place in a UdK German course. However, the German course team and International Student Services can advise on external language courses.
If there are places available, interested UdK students who do not need proof of language proficiency can also participate in the UdK German courses.
