The German-American Fulbright program supports the promotion of mutual understanding between the two countries at the level of academic and cultural exchange.
Master's students and Bachelor's graduates from universities and art colleges with a German citizenship who would like to study for one to two semesters (max. 9 months) as a graduate student at a US university can apply for a Fulbright Scholarship. The scholarship supports the study stay in the USA with up to $ 31,000. Students can now apply for a Fulbright study scholarship in the U.S. for the 2027–28 academic year. The application deadline is September 1, 2026, at 1:59 p.m. (CEST).
