The counseling sessions can take place in person at our office in the Student Counseling Centeror on the phone. The conversations are confidential and anonymous. We take our time for you.

There is also a counseling service specifically for students at risk.
Here you will receive advice and support during the application process and throughout the entire course of studies.

If you are interested in the degree programmes Design (Product/ Fashion) and Visual Communication or in the degree programmes of the Faculty of Fine Arts (Fine Arts and the teacher training programmes) you are welcome  to attend a special information event, organized by the student advisory service.
These events are held twice a month and are led by students who present their course of study and answer your questions.

As a rule, there is one information event in digital form on the video platform Webex and one in presence in the buildings of the UdK Berlin.

Usually the information events are held in German. However, questions can also be answered in English.

Presence
At the on-site events, there is usually also a short guided tour of the buildings, workshops, classes, etc.
No pre-registration is necessary.

On Monday, 16.12.2024 at 5:00 p.m. you will have the opportunity to get in touch  with teachers from the Art and Media programme and find out more about this artistic study course. This event will take place digitally on the Webex platform. You will receive the meeting link after registration.

Please note that applicants for Art and Media must already have completed 4 semesters of basic studies with a focus on audio-visual media.
