Expert sessions are also open to Bachelor’s students and, in particular, to participants in the AI Literacy course offered as part of the Studium Generale and within the GWK, thereby fulfilling the required complementarity with the Studium Generale (with the Master’s level, subject-specific focus, and peer expertise sharing serving as distinguishing features).

About
Artificial intelligence is not just a tool, but a fundamental cultural technique that is profoundly transforming creative and scientific processes. But how can we use AI technologies in art, design, and music with confidence, a critical eye, and an experimental spirit? In this interdisciplinary learning project, we’ll work together to develop AI literacy as a key competency. Bi-weekly expert sessions with AI pioneers will inspire learning and development in hybrid peer-learning workshops. The focus is both on your individual relationship with AI and on your own practice within the context of your discipline (in interaction with the disciplines of your fellow students). Across departmental boundaries, you’ll develop your own AI learning projects over the course of the winter semester, share your knowledge through a “teach-back” format, and explore “creative augmentation” and its limits. The project offers space for critical inquiry (e.g., critical AI, platform criticism) and free experimentation, culminating in a public closing event in February 2027. An interdisciplinary project led by Max Senges & Klaus Gasteier (in collaboration with Prof. Paulo Modelo, Prof. Ineke Hans, and Prof. Alberto de Campo, among others).

Expert:innen-Sessions stehen auch Bachelor-Studierenden und speziell Teilnehmenden des KI-Literacy-Kurses im Studium Generale sowie innerhalb von GWK offen, wodurch die geforderte Komplementarität zum Studium Generale erfüllt wird (wobei das Master-Niveau, Fachspezifik, Peer-Expertise-Sharing als Differenzierungsmerkmale zu nennen sind).

Künstliche Intelligenz ist nicht nur Werkzeug, sondern eine grundlegende Kulturtechnik, die kreative und wissenschaftliche Prozesse tiefgreifend verändert. Aber wie können wir KI-Technologien in Kunst, Design und Musik souverän, kritisch und experimentell nutzen? In diesem interdisziplinären Lernprojekt erarbeiten wir gemeinsam KI-Literacy als Schlüsselkompetenz. Zweiwöchentliche Expert:innen-Sessions mit KI-Pionier:innen inspirieren das Lernen und Entwickeln in hybriden Peer-Learning-Werkstätten. Es geht sowohl um die individuelle Beziehung zu KI als auch um die eigene Praxis im Kontext der eigenen Disziplin (im Zusammenspiel mit den Disziplinen der Kommiliton:innen). Über Fakultätsgrenzen hinweg entwickelt ihr im Laufe des Wintersemesters eigene KI-Lernprojekte, teilt euer Wissen im „Teach-Back“-Format und erforscht "kreative Augmentierung" und ihre Grenzen. Das Projekt bietet Raum für kritisches Hinterfragen (z.B. kritische KI, Plattformkritik) und freies Experimentieren und mündet in einem öffentlichen Abschluss-Happening im Februar 2027. Ein interdisziplinäres Projekt unter der Leitung von Max Senges & Klaus Gasteier (u.a. mit Prof. Paulo Modelo, Prof. Ineke Hans und Prof. Alberto de Campo).
