Continuing Education and Transfer

The Central Institute for Continuing Education and Transfer (ZIWT) offers continuing education in the inspiring environment of UdK Berlin. With its Berlin Career College and the Career & Transfer Service Center, it offers a unique range of university courses in the artistic-creative field. The program is aimed at students and graduates of the UdK Berlin as well as artists, cultural professionals and creative entrepreneurs. The Artist Training programme offers consultation and further education for artists at risk.

In addition to a qualification program for acquiring start-up skills, certificate courses such as Exhibition Design, Biographical Theater, Music Physiology, Curating and Storytelling in Arts and Education are offered. In addition, the international Berlin Summer University of the Arts presents a high-quality English-language program for artists and creatives of all disciplines.

We cooperate with renowned research institutions in order to promote professional diversity, artistic excellence and innovation-oriented transfer and research opportunities.

The Digital Learning Center is also based at the Central Institute for Continuing Education and Transfer and supports the Berlin University of the Arts in digital and hybrid teaching.
