In her multimedia practice, Laura Katzauer explores the dynamics of the social and political dimensions of time and historicity, creating spaces in which she poetically investigates issues of anstral heritage and collective (sub)consciousness. She often uses the metaphors of cultural-historical myths and the phenomena of digital worlds. Through video, music installation, drawing, and opera-like performance, she creates narratives that foreground the often fraught relationship between the learning processes of social evolution and the space for personal development.
