The AStA UdK Berlin gives money to support cultural projects run by student groups. We especially want to support interdisciplinary engagement that goes beyond the regular curriculum and bring students together. What matters most is your idea, its collaborative realization as you work on it as a group, and that it benefits as many UdK Berlin students as possible.

You are invited to present your project ideas at our AStA meetings after you submitted a funding application. Please make sure your project fits our project funding guidelines.

You will also need to submit a completed project funding application and financial plan, as well as a short exposé (approx. half an A4 page) before your presentation. If you save the application and open it in a PDF reader, it can be filled out and printed. Hovering over the fillable fields will often display a small help text.

The AStA's social support funding is currently paused. In the meantime, we recommend checking out the help and advice offered by the Studierendenwerk: https://www.stw.berlin/beratung/

In addition, there are various funding opportunities and forms of support that the AStA can advise you on. These include assistance with housing benefit applications, referrals to qualified university and legal advisory services, as well as the Studierendenwerk Berlin's social counselling service.

We can also answer any questions you may have about the semester ticket and any possible subsidies or exemptions.
