The Student Council for Bildende Kunst and Bildende Kunst Lehramt is a group of students that represents the interests of students and works to improve our study conditions as well as the academic disciplines of “Fine Art” and “Fine Art Teacher Training”. We also see ourselves as a hub for networking between the two degree programmes. In this way, we aim to counteract the separation between the Teacher Training in Fine Arts and Fine Arts programmes and to promote joint organisation.

As part of university policy, we are represented on various committees and councils at the UdK, such as the Faculty Council and the Departmental Council, where we advocate for the concerns and needs of students in our department. 

If you have any questions about your studies or need support with issues in your day-to-day student life, please feel free to contact us. We can also mediate between you and other members of the faculty if required.

Another key task is providing financial and organisational support for student projects, such as exhibitions, workshops or excursions.
