Equal Pay Day was launched in 1996 by the National Committee for Pay Equity (NCPE) as a public awareness event to highlight the gap between men’s and women’s wages.
On the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, the Berlin University of the Arts is raising awareness against violence against women.
The Hanns Eisler Academy of Music and the Department of Music at the Berlin University of the Arts are jointly organising this day of action for their university members.
