Gender-inclusive language
In university correspondence, neutral forms of address and formulations as well as the gender asterisk (Gendersternchen) are used in documents, forms, contracts, and on all university platforms.
The options “diverse” and “no indication“
The options “diverse” and “no indication” are now available and recognised in all forms, certificates, statistics, databases, contracts, and correspondence at UdK Berlin wherever gender or a salutation is required. The use of neutral salutations and inclusive language, including the gender asterisk (Gendersternchen), is consistently applied across all university correspondence, documents, and platforms.
