Zihern Lee ist eine Denkerin, Künstlerin, Wissenschaftlerin und Pädagogin, die das Konzept der digitalen Menschlichkeit erforscht und ausdrückt – eine Ecke des Tetraeders, die Kunst als Ausdruck, Technologie als Praxis und Wissenschaft als Prinzip umfasst. Insbesondere vertieft sie sich in die neuen Ethiken der KI-Kunst und betrachtet sie aus den Perspektiven der Phänomenologie, des Post-Heidegger und des Post-Konfuzianismus als digitales Phänomen. In diesem Kontext halten sich Menschen an Naturgesetze und Freude, während die Ethiken verschiedener Kulturen mit neuer Technologie koexistieren.

Sie studierte Komposition (Prof. Dr. Seung Hyun Yoon) und Philosophie (Prof. Dr. Ja Kyoung Han) an der Ewha Womans University in Seoul, Korea, verfolgte 5 Jahre (2010-2014) lang Komposition in der Meisterklasse des Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra unter Unsuk Chin (und Prof. Johannes Schöllhorn [Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln], Pascal Dusapin [Collège de France], Prof. Tristan Murail [Columbia University in NY], Prof. York Höller [Berliner Akademie der Künste], Sir. Simon Rattle [Berliner Philharmoniker, Lucerne Festival])und erkundete Medienkunst an der Universität der Künste Berlin (Prof. Dr. Phil. Alberto de Campo, Prof. Nina Fischer).

Ihre künstlerischen Werke wurden an renommierten Veranstaltungsorten wie dem Konzerthaus Berlin, dem CTM Festival/Transmediale und dem Tongyeong International Music Festival präsentiert. Sie hat mehrfach Stipendien und Auszeichnungen von internationalen und nationalen Organisationen für ihre künstlerische Forschung in Musik, Tanz, Medien und Literatur erhalten.

Als Pädagogin und Lehrerin hat sie Studenten von Dulwich College Seoul, North London Collegiate School Jeju, Ewha W. University, Hochschule für Musik Carl Maria von Weber, New York University, Korea National University of Education Graduate School und Yale University auf verschiedenen akademischen Ebenen in der Musikkomposition und Analyse (Traditionelle Motiv-Harmonie-Analyse, Set Thoery-Analyse) angeleitet, einschließlich International Baccalaureate, ABRSM Diplom, Bachelor- und Master-Niveau.

Sie hat auch als spezialisierte Beraterin für Wutkontrolle gearbeitet (ausgestellt von der Korea Association of Vocational Education, Ministry of Health and Welfare), und unterrichtete praktische Philosophie, künstlerische Ethik und Psychologie für erwachsene professionelle Künstler. Sie setzte sich aktiv dafür ein, eine bessere innere Aufführungsumgebung zu schaffen.

Sie war als Forschungstutorin am Vilém Flusser Archive tätig und vermittelte Wissen durch verschiedene Unterrichtsmethoden. Derzeit ist sie wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin bei ECDF (Einstein Center Digital Future), UdK in der digitalen Bildung und arbeitet mit Prof. Dr. Daniel D. Hromada zusammen.

Zihern Lee is a thinker, artist, scientist and educator who explores and expresses the concept of digital humanity—a corner of the tetrahedron encompassing art as expression, technology as practice, and science as principle. Specifically, she delves into the new ethics of AI art, approaching it through the perspectives of phenomenology, post-Heidegger, and post-Confucianism as a digital phenomenon. In this context, humans adhere to natural laws and pleasure, while the ethics of various cultures coexist with new technology.

She studied composition (Prof. Dr. Seung Hyun Yoon) and philosophy (Prof. Dr. Ja Kyoung Han) at Ewha Womans University in Seoul, Korea, pursued composition under Unsuk Chin (and Prof. Johannes Schöllhorn [Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln], Pascal Dusapin [Collège de France], Prof. Tristan Murail [Columbia University in NY], Prof. York Höller [Berliner Akademie der Künste], Sir. Simon Rattle [Berliner Philharmoniker, Lucerne Festival]) for 5 years (2010-2014) in the master class of the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra, and explored media art at the Berlin University of the Arts (Prof. Dr. Phil. Alberto de Campo, Prof. Nina Fischer).

Her artistic works have been presented at renowned venues such as Konzerthaus Berlin, CTM festival/Transmediale, and Tongyeong International Music Festival. She has received scholarships and awards multiple times from international and national organizations for her artistic research in music, dance, media, and literature.

As an educator and teacher, she has guided students from Dulwich College Seoul, North London Collegiate School Jeju, Ewha W. University, Hochschule für Musik Carl Maria von Weber, New York University, Korea National University of Education Graduate School, and Yale University at various academic levels in music compositin and analysis (Traditional Motif-Harmony Analysis, Set Theory Analysis), including International Baccalaureate, ABRSM diploma, undergraduate, and graduate levels.

She has also worked as a specialized anger management counselor (issued by the Korea Association of Vocational Education, Ministry of Health and Welfare), providing practical philosophy, artistic ethics, and psychology to adult professional artists. She has dedicated efforts to create a better internal performance environment through her coachings.

She has served as a research tutor at the Vilém Flusser Archive and imparted knowledge through various teaching methods. Currently, she is a scientific assistant at ECDF (Einstein Center Digital Future), UdK in digital education with Prof. Dr. Daniel D. Hromada.
