Admission procedure

What happens after the application?

The application process consists of a pre-selection and an entrance examination, which may include a technical interview.

Applicants who meet the formal requirements and whose work samples demonstrate their suitability for the programme (pre-selection) will be admitted to the entrance examination. The entrance examination is expected to take place online at the end of May/beginning of June. In the entrance examination, tasks relating to areas of social and economic communication that are not specified in advance must be completed in writing within 4 hours.

Applicants who have successfully completed the entrance examination will then receive notification via the application portal.

If the admission test does not clearly indicate suitability for studying social and economic communication, applicants will be invited to a personal interview with the admissions committee, which is expected to take place at the UdK in Berlin at the beginning of July. The committee's decision on admission or rejection will be communicated immediately afterwards via the application portal.
