FAQs on the campusmanagementportal my.udk-berlin
After applying for a degree programme, the application for admission will also be displayed as a PDF document in the portal.
In this document you will be asked to print out the application and send it with the other documents by post to the UdK.
With a few exceptions, this no longer applies!
If postal submission is not required for your degree programme in the Application Guide, please ignore the request in this PDF document!
How do I get to the campus management portal my.udk-berlin and how can I log in there?
The campus management portal of the UdK Berlin, which you can use to apply for a degree programme, can be found on the following website https://my.udk-berlin.de.
There you will find information for different target groups. You can also register or log in there (if you are already registered).
Registration: After registering, you will receive a no-reply e-mail with the login name set by the programme and a reference to the password you set when registering. You must complete this registration by clicking on the link provided in the email and you will then be able to log in and create and edit applications and view the status of your current applications.
Instructions can be found further down the page.
ATTENTION: Please register only once. If you have already applied for a previous semester (WS 2020-21 onwards), please log in with your previous application data.
Always use the latest version of your browser (e.g. Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome).
Do I have to register first or can I create an application directly?
You cannot create an application without registering and entering your personal data. Only after you have registered and verified yourself can you log in and create your application.
I have forgotten my password. What do I have to do?
Please click on "Forgot your password?" directly below the login data. On the page that opens, you can enter your login name and answer a security question and you will directly receive a new password.
I have forgotten my login name. Where can I ask for it?
You received your login name in the email with the subject "UdK Berlin: Studienbewerbung: Willkommens-E-Mail". If you no longer have the welcome e-mail from your first registration and do not know your login name, please send an e-mail with the subject "Login name unknown" and include your full name, application number and date of birth to the StudyGuide firstname.lastname@example.org.
The staff will send you your application name by e-mail as soon as possible. You can then generate a new password via the current website.
A new registration with a different e-mail address will not help in this case. The programme compares your personal data and thus prevents a second registration.
How do I apply for a degree programme at the UdK?
After you have registered and logged in to the Campus Management Portal, you can create and edit your application for the desired degree programme in the Application section. Within the application deadline, you can also withdraw and re-edit your application or see the status of your application at any time (see also: Status of my application). You can also change or correct your personal data, e.g. address. You will also find information about missing documents and the deadline for submitting them.
Here you can find instructions for applying via the campus management portal my.udk-berlin
You are already studying at the UdK Berlin or have studied with us and would like to apply for another degree programme? Then please use these instructions.
Can I still submit documents after I have completed my application?
If you receive the message "Missing documents can be submitted until the end of the application period" in the campus management portal, you have the opportunity to submit these missing documents until the end of the application period. If this document is not submitted by the deadline, you will not be able to participate in the admission procedure.
It is therefore advisable that you submit your application documents to the UdK Berlin as early as possible so that your documents can be checked for completeness and any missing documents can still be submitted.
If the Campus Management Portal informs you that "Documents can be submitted until enrolment", you have the opportunity to submit these missing documents until enrolment. If this document is not available by the time of enrolment, enrolment may be refused.
If you wish to submit any formal documents at a later date (e.g. VPD, enhanced language certificate, etc.), please send them to udk-bewerbung indicating the following information in the subject line: @udk-berlin.de
Subject: Course of study, degree, specialization/instrument if applicable, surname, first name, application number
e.g. Orchestral Instruments, Bachelor, Violin, Müller, Maria, 123456
All documents as one PDF, max. 20 MB in size.
This mailbox is regularly checked by all administrators in the admissions office. The application deadlines are also decisive for subsequent submissions. Application deadlines are cut-off deadlines. Therefore, please make sure that your documents are complete.
Where can I find information on the status of my application?
To do so, log into the Campus Management Portal and go to your applications. Next to your application you will find the status of your application highlighted in blue.

If the status does not change, you will take part in the further admission procedure with this status.

Where can I find information on whether I have been admitted to the second part of the admission procedure and whether I have been assigned an individual appointment?
Log into the campus management portal my.udk-berlin and go to your study applications. In the list of your submitted applications, you will find a field "Show application details" next to each programme application. Here you will find information on the status of your application ("Further information") and whether you have been allocated an individual deadline ("Examination information"). In this case, you will receive a separate e-mail with further information on the second part of the admission procedure.
Do I have to submit the application for admission or my control sheet to the IPA by the application deadline?
We have switched most degree programmes to a purely digital application. For these degree programmes, we do not require the application for admission or the control sheet. You only need to apply online and submit your formal application documents digitally as a PDF.
For degree programmes that have not yet been fully converted, please also submit the formal documents when applying. In addition, we require a copy of the formal documents including the application for admission (PDF, directly in the application overview on the left) within the application deadline by post or as an upload on Bemus.
Please refer to the information in the Application Guide to find out whether the degree programme you wish to apply for has already been converted or has not yet been completely converted.
The control sheet (PDF, on the right in Personal Information) gives you a printed overview of all applications in which you are participating for the coming semester. This is only for you and does not have to be submitted to the UdK.
Where can I find a copy of the admission or rejection notice?
All decisions on admissions and rejections are sent by post. Only the decision sent by post is legally binding. As soon as the decision has been printed, you can access a copy of the decision in the campsmanagement portal my.udk-berlin.de.
To do this, log in and go to your applications. A button "Inbox" will appear at the top left. There you will receive a copy of all notifications.
I have questions about the application in general. Who can I contact?
The StudyGuide at the UdK Berlin is your first point of contact for questions about applying or studying. You can find more information about the StudyGuide here: email@example.com
If in doubt, the staff will forward your enquiry to the relevant department if the question cannot be answered directly.
Who sees my data? And can I make changes myself?
The staff of the IPA and the StudyGuide have access to your data. If necessary, the staff can make partial changes to the data. You cannot change the details of your desired course of study.
If you have applied incorrectly and the application deadline is still running, you can withdraw the incorrect application and create a new one. If you have entered incorrect data and the application deadline is still running, you can withdraw and edit the application and resubmit it.
Please note that currently only applications received by post can be processed. Applications submitted purely digitally will not be processed.
