FAQs on the campusmanagementportal my.udk-berlin

Registration and login

How do I get to the campus management portal my.udk-berlin and how can I log in there?

The campus management portal of the UdK Berlin, which you can use to apply for a degree programme, can be found on the following website https://my.udk-berlin.de.
There you will find information for different target groups. You can also register or log in there (if you are already registered).

Registration: After registering, you will receive a no-reply e-mail with the login name set by the programme and a reference to the password you set when registering. You must complete this registration by clicking on the link provided in the email and you will then be able to log in and create and edit applications and view the status of your current applications.
Instructions can be found further down the page.

ATTENTION: Please register only once. If you have already applied for a previous semester (WS 2020-21 onwards), please log in with your previous application data.

Always use the latest version of your browser (e.g. Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome).

Application without registration

Do I have to register first or can I create an application directly?

You cannot create an application without registering and entering your personal data. Only after you have registered and verified yourself can you log in and create your application.

Forgot password

I have forgotten my password. What do I have to do?

Please click on "Forgot your password?" directly below the login data. On the page that opens, you can enter your login name and answer a security question and you will directly receive a new password.

Fortgot login name

I have forgotten my login name. Where can I ask for it?

You received your login name in the email with the subject "UdK Berlin: Studienbewerbung: Willkommens-E-Mail". If you no longer have the welcome e-mail from your first registration and do not know your login name, please send an e-mail with the subject "Login name unknown" and include your full name, application number and date of birth to the StudyGuide studyguide@udk-berlin.de.
The staff will send you your application name by e-mail as soon as possible. You can then generate a new password via the current website.

A new registration with a different e-mail address will not help in this case. The programme compares your personal data and thus prevents a second registration.

Application for a degree programme

How do I apply for a degree programme at the UdK?

After you have registered and logged in to the Campus Management Portal, you can create and edit your application for the desired degree programme in the Application section. Within the application deadline, you can also withdraw and re-edit your application or see the status of your application at any time (see also: Status of my application). You can also change or correct your personal data, e.g. address. You will also find information about missing documents and the deadline for submitting them.

Missing documents

Can I still submit documents after I have completed my application?

If you receive the message "Missing documents can be submitted until the end of the application period" in the campus management portal, you have the opportunity to submit these missing documents until the end of the application period. If this document is not submitted by the deadline, you will not be able to participate in the admission procedure.
It is therefore advisable that you submit your application documents to the UdK Berlin as early as possible so that your documents can be checked for completeness and any missing documents can still be submitted.

If the Campus Management Portal informs you that "Documents can be submitted until enrolment", you have the opportunity to submit these missing documents until enrolment. If this document is not available by the time of enrolment, enrolment may be refused.

If you want to submit any formal documents at a later date (e.g. VPD, enhanced language certificate, etc.), please send them to the responsible person at the Registration and Examination office (IPA) indicating the following information in the subject line.
https://www.udk-berlin.de/en/service/registration-and-examinations-office-ipa/person-in-charge-by-study-programme/

Subject: Course of study, degree, specialization/instrument if applicable, surname, first name, application number
e.g. Orchestral Instruments, Bachelor, Violin, Müller, Maria, 123456
All documents as one PDF, max. 20 MB in size.

The application deadlines are also decisive for subsequent submissions. Application deadlines are cut-off deadlines. Therefore, please make sure that your documents are complete.

Log into the campus management portal my.udk-berlin and go to your study applications. In the list of your submitted applications, you will find a field "Show application details" next to each programme application. Here you will find information on the status of your application ("Further information") and whether you have been allocated an individual deadline ("Examination information"). In this case, you will receive a separate e-mail with further information on the second part of the admission procedure.

Admission notice and rejection notice

Where can I find a copy of the admission or rejection notice?

From semester 2024 onwards, notifications will only be sent to you digitally via the campus management portal my.udk (see inbox above your application). They will no longer be sent by post.

Please note that the applications will be deleted after a period of about ten months. Download the notification and save it on your PC.

Questions on the application

I have questions about the application in general. Who can I contact?

The StudyGuide at the UdK Berlin is your first point of contact for questions about applying or studying. You can find more information about the StudyGuide here: studyguide@udk-berlin.de
If in doubt, the staff will forward your enquiry to the relevant department if the question cannot be answered directly.

My data

Who sees my data? And can I make changes myself?

The staff of the IPA and the StudyGuide have access to your data. If necessary, the staff can make partial changes to the data. You cannot change the details of your desired course of study.
If you have applied incorrectly and the application deadline is still running, you can withdraw the incorrect application and create a new one. If you have entered incorrect data and the application deadline is still running, you can withdraw and edit the application and resubmit it.
