Semester Topic: LOOK MA, NO [X] - Mobile / modular Setups

As big tech and especially AI escalates higher with huge data centers, faster hardware, and generally high-risky scale-up strategies, we go low, and study the opposite direction:

How small, mobile and flexible can instruments, installations, performance systems, become? What are the implications, tradeoffs and the particular possibility spaces that arise from such an approach for artists, collectives, and the works they can create? And whose agency <> intelligence becomes enabled here?
