Campaign Design (and Advertising)

source: UdK Berlin

The Campaigns class is about ideas. Ideas for campaigns that are meant to make a difference, that deal with people and society. All digital and analogue media can be used. Posters and social media, photography and films, radio and podcasts, events and ambient, digital products and services.

The Campaigns class is open to all who want to represent their own position in our society and define their own position as designers. Students from the Bachelor's programme from the 3rd semester are just as welcome as Master's students.

We always start with research and a concept. From this we develop communication and campaigns. Creativity techniques are used as well as experimentation. Because in the end, everything we implement has to inspire.

Teaching offers

The central teaching offer in the class is the project - with a new topic every new semester. Supplementary courses such as social design, corporate communication, motion design, social media and current critical positions in management and marketing are offered by lecturers. The Campaign class works closely with the photography workshop led by Sebastian Herold.
