Silvia Gioberti

short vita

Silvia Gioberti is an urban practitioner and art producer. Her work moves between spatial design, artistic research, and urban intervention. She studied architecture at the Politecnico di Milano and at the Berlin University of the Arts. As co-founder of the artist collective Guerilla Architects, together with Anja Fritz and Shahrzad Rahmani, she engages with the social and spatial dimensions of (public) space, challenging established norms through design and unconventional use. Through her work as a freelance art producer, she has developed an understanding of how art and space are produced and valued, deepening her curiosity about questions of authorship and the politics of place. Since 2022, she has been a research associate at the Berlin University of the Arts. In her teaching and research she looks for new ways communities can shape and claim the spaces they inhabit.
