Aisha Altenhofen’s artistic work addresses images, focusing on the structures in which they are produced and seen. She works primarily with the installation of photographs, incorporating the material conditions of the exhibition sites into her work. Most recently, she has been concerned with shifts in the public perception of photography and related shifts in the public sphere.
