My work engages with tensions that unfold through the materiality of canvas and paint.  1 investigate the question of the body, whether it appears on the surface or emerges from the canvas itself. Forms fragmentize, constantly negotiating the boundaries they inhabit.  Through process-based, reactive methods, the works undergo reassembly, reflecting a constant negotiation between form, surface, and presence.
