The theme of my work is examining how small, subtle causes can make a big difference. The uncertainty, the anxiety, of the senses increases to the extent that this force becomes almost imperceptible, almost imperceptible. So I am interested in the invisible, the almost invisible, immaterial properties and emanations. The starting point of my work is basically an extremely everyday experience. For example, I live on the fourth floor of a house in Berlin Lichtenberg. When I'm lying in bed, the floor shakes ever so slightly, and I feel this vibration, this slight tremor, in my body as well, so I ask myself if I'm shaking or if it's some external energy that's making me shiver. This is an unsafe and unstable situation for me and I am worried. Since I cannot control or filter this external energy, it affects me even if it seems very small. When I listen, witness, and investigate a situation to find and understand the source of energy, the tension within me disappears.

In my series [Berlin, Street Names], I explore how this subtle force permeates objects, while "still" attempts to exert control over this state. My aim is to evoke tranquility and stillness, yet the cracks in the material expose the elusive nature of control.
