Symphony orchestra of the UdK Berlin
The symphony orchestra of the UdK Berlin gives three to four concerts each year and presents one opera project as well. The peak of each academic year is build by the “Concert for the Nations”.
At Berlin University of the Arts there are a number of music ensembles, choirs and instrumental ensembles, whose members are students. In the main, they make music within the study timetable. Here, we introduce some of the ensembles. Information about current concerts can also be found here.

Studio for Contemporary Music at Berlin University of the Arts
The Ensemble Baroque of the UdK Berlin is a variable group of students focussing on period performance practice, primarily of the 16th to 18th centuries, including consort, chamber and orchestral formations. Projects are mentored by teachers of the Institute who coach and sometimes perform alongside the students.
The studio-orchestra of the Berlin University of the Arts presents and records works-in-progress by students of composition in a workshop setting, in collaboration with students of conducting and sound engineering.
