Max Hattwich
Max Hattwich studied guitar at the hmt-Rostock. During his studies in Rostock he encountered the playing of the figured bass on the theorbo. He has since dedicated himself to the performance on historical plucked instruments. He is currently completing a second degree in historical performance practice in Berlin at the UdK with Björn Colell. Max Hattwich plays Renaissance lute, arch lute, theorbo and baroque guitar. He is a founding member of Ensemble Due sopra il Basso.
