Steffen Martin is an experimental filmmaker, editor, sound designer, and composer of contemporary and electroacoustic music. His interest in collaborative processes established Martin's dialectical approach in sound design for dance, film, installation, and performance. Cooperations with various artists and stimulating dialog with researchers about art theory and philosophy amongst others, gratifies and inspires him most. Martin is based in Berlin while he mostly works internationally (film + sound design projects 2017 in Athens, Basel, Jerusalem, and Los Angeles).
