Cecilia Schmidt Pauluk is an emerging illustrator and designer from Brazil currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Visual Communication at the Berlin University of the Arts (UdK). Her practice is guided by an interdisciplinary and intercultural approach, bringing together diverse fields, perspectives, and forms of knowledge. Having grown up and attended schools in both Brazil and Germany, she developed an early interest in cultural exchange and diverse ways of thinking. She later received a scholarship to complete her secondary education at United World Colleges in Dilijan, Armenia, an international school modeled after the educational philosophy of Kurt Hahn and dedicated to intercultural understanding. There she also held her first exhibition alongside fellow students.

Before beginning her studies at UdK Berlin, Cecilia spent a year pursuing her interest in classical piano at Toneheim Folkehøgskole in Norway. At UdK, she has remained actively involved in university life, working both as a tutor for Henning Wagenbreth and Reyhan Şahin and as a student assistant for INTER, a program that promotes interdisciplinary collaboration across master's degree programs.
