In dieser Kollision treffen sich Storytelling und Experimentelle Musik. Die Studierenden sammeln erzählerisches und klangliches Material zu selbstgewählten Themen. Aus diesem Material werden mit einfachsten technischen Mitteln kurze biografisch inspirierte Podcasts entwickelt. Dabei dient die autobiografische Erfahrung als Ausgangspunkt für gesellschaftspolitische Auseinandersetzung, und Zu-Hören wird zur politischen Praxis. Dieser Workshop eignet sich besonders für Masterstudierende, die bereits eine Fragestellung verfolgen oder die ein neues Thema gemeinsam mit anderen entwickeln möchten. 

In this collision, storytelling and experimental music meet. The students collect narrative and sonic material on self-selected topics. From this material, short biographically inspired podcasts are developed using the simplest technical means. Autobiographical experience serves as a starting point for socio-political engagement, and listening becomes a political practice. This workshop is particularly suitable for master’s students who are already pursuing a research question or who wish to develop a new topic together with others.

Gudrun Herrbold ist Schauspielerin, Theaterregisseurin und Dozentin für Theaterpädagogik und Performance. Sie studierte Germanistik, Philosophie und Politologie in Köln, Schauspiel in Berlin und New York und Art in Context an der UdK Berlin. 2007-2010 war sie Professorin für Kunst in Aktion an der HBK Braunschweig, seitdem lehrt sie an der UdK Berlin und anderen Hochschulen und Bildungsinstituten. Seit 1998 verwirklicht sie biografisch-dokumentarische Theaterprojekte.
Maja von Kriegstein is a musician, performer and university lecturer at the UdK Berlin. Her predominantly collectively developed free works include improvised music, experimental band projects and post-dramatic music theater. In these works, socio-political issues are often embedded in the context of experimental music. Maja holds a degree in Philosophy and Music from HU and UdK Berlin as well as a MA in Performance Practices /Choreography from ArtEZ Arnhem, The Netherlands.
Today is November 29th, 2025, and I refuse to write about myself in the third person. My name is Anton Vasilyev-Zarzhevskiy. I’m a composer, field recordist, analog photographer, and sound engineer working predominantly in the contemporary music and sound art scene. I search for ways of making sounds and images – music, photography, and video – that oppose the imperial logic of alienation, constant expansion, and unlimited growth. I graduated from the Moscow Technical University Bauman (Radio-Electronic Systems) and the University of the Arts Bremen (Composition) where I currently teach Music Informatics. My British boyfriend helped me to write this.
