How can international students successfully transition from university to a career in Germany? And what opportunities arise when international perspectives meet the German working world? In this five-day workshop, students work together to develop their own podcast series that tells real career stories.
From the initial idea to recording and publication, participants learn all the steps involved in podcast production: conception, interviewing, editing, design and publication. The focus is on personal experiences relating to job hunting, starting a career and integration into the labour market.
A special highlight of the workshop are the company visits on the second day. On site, students talk to HR managers and employees, discuss topics such as diversity, work culture and the future of work – and record these interviews in their podcast.
The workshop offers the opportunity to acquire media skills, establish contacts with local companies and make the diversity of their perspectives audible.
