BEYOND UdK TALKS aims to provide especially international students who are about to graduate with orientation in professionalising their own artistic practice.  How can artistic independence be organised after graduation? How does one find one's own way between the demands on oneself, on artistic creation, on securing one's livelihood and other personal needs and ambitions? International alumni from previous years will be invited to share their experiences and advice with interested students from UdK. On the other hand curators, critics, representatives of funding institutions as well as professors will provide insights into their own work and knowledge. They describe possible approaches and difficulties in the respective fields and thus provide an initial orientation for the time after graduation at the UdK. Our guests will speak about chances as well as obstacles and they will answer your questions.
