Dreißig aneinandergereihte Matratzen, formiert zu einer imposanten Liegefläche: Blockade, Möglichkeitsraum und temporäres Habitat.

Vom 5. - 7. November 2024 laden Studierende der Klasse Neugebauer zu einer kollektiven Performance ein, die Begriffe wie Intimität und Privatheit radikal umkehrt und damit nach einer neuen Form der zwischenmenschlichen Annäherung sucht. Ein hinzukommendes Konglomerat aus über zwanzig verschiedenen Objekten, die das Motiv des Nachttisches aufgreifen, spüren den vielgestaltig auftretenden Phänomenen im eigenen Bett nach und offenbaren sich den Betrachter:innen in Form von Sound-Installationen, Skulpturen und fotografischen Inszenierungen.

Eine Lesung von Jan Peter Bremer sowie eine Sound Performance von Somi Sniegocka geben darüber hinaus Impulse von außen und benutzen die raumgreifende Skulptur aus Schaumstoff und Bühnenboden als Plattform und Resonanzraum.

Thirty mattresses lined up next to each other, forming an impressive lying surface: Blockade, space of possibilities and temporary habitat.

From November 5th to 7th, 2024, students from the Neugebauer class invite you to a collective performance that radically reverses concepts such as intimacy and privacy and thus searches for a new form of interpersonal rapprochement. A conglomerate of over twenty different objects, which work on the motif and meaning of the bedside table, trace the diverse phenomena that occur in one's own bed and reveal themselves to the viewer in the form of sound installations, sculptures and photographic productions.

A reading by Jan Peter Bremer and a sound performance by Somi Sniegocka provide additional impulses from outside and use the expansive sculpture made of foam and stage floor as a platform and resonance space.
