Sarah Ama Duah is a German-Ghanaian artist in Berlin. She studied Fashiondesign at HAW Hamburg and Fine Arts at Berlin University of the Arts (UdK), focusing on Performance and Sculpture. Her multidisciplinary practice spans sculpture, performance, dress, and the body, using figurative, narrative approaches. Combining craft-based fashion knowledge with sculptural methods, she works with wax, plaster, silicone, and latex to explore assimilation, fragmentation, and resistance. Duah materializes reflections through tangible objects and artistic scenarios, highlighting Afro-diasporic memory cultures. Her work examines how Afro-diasporic identities navigate, reshape, and assert presence within space.
