Information for students, artists and scholars at risk
Many projects for refugees are taking place at UdK Berlin On this page you will find a selection of current and past events.
Scholars, artists, and cultural professionals who are at risk and must leave their country, or who have already fled and are currently residing in Germany or Europe, may contact the Office for Grants and Collaborations at the Berlin University of the Arts (UdK Berlin) regarding external funding opportunities. With our offer we address people from Ukraine as well as people from other non-European countries. For all these projects, it is necessary to find a professor at the university who has the appropriate expertise for your project and who will support you.
A requirement for collaboration at the UdK Berlin and for potential funding is that your work aligns with the themes, disciplines, research areas, or artistic focuses of the Berlin University of the Arts. Please research in advance to identify suitable contacts, degree programs, or potential mentors/professors at the UdK Berlin who share an overlap with your field of expertise, using personal contacts, professional networks, or the UdK Berlin websites:
