Exkursion + Workshop: Moonshot at SOLYCO Solar AG – Game-based innovation
One afternoon, one real-world question, one method: Moonshot.
You’ll develop ideas, pitch them against each other as a team, and send the best one to the moon. No prior knowledge is required. You’ll get to know Moonshot and SOLYCO by taking part: thinking faster, asking questions differently, and making decisions as a team when nothing is certain.
The host is SOLYCO, a solar manufacturer based in Berlin. The company is located at the former Tegel Airport, where a new research centre is currently being built. SOLYCO develops solar modules, tests them in its own outdoor fields and collaborates with research institutes. This has led, for example, to the development of a technology that allows solar cells to function without silver or lead.
The workshop is aimed at students who are interested in innovation processes and game-based methods, and who want to understand how a vague question can be turned into a viable idea.
International students welcome!
Where you end up afterwards – whether at a company, an agency, an institution or as a self-employed person – is secondary: this way of thinking is applicable everywhere. You’ll learn meta-skills by applying Moonshot to a specific question posed by SOLYCO. And you’ll get an inside look at a company at the Urban Tech Republic site on the former Tegel Airport.
