24 24 is an expanded "A Day On Earth" curriculum comprised of a two-day workshop and a hybrid site-specific event, organized over a one-week period to stage a cross-timezone collaboration between the Time-based Art with Contemporary Technology (TBAwCT) class from the Berlin University of the Arts and the "Body & Media" class from the Free Art Studio at the China Academy of Art in Hangzhou. The workshop seeks to bridge the principles of both process-focused research and performance-based methods, stimulating exploratory practice with distant bodies and their relational media conditions in our contemporary living realities on Earth.

The "A Day On Earth" 24-hour public event designates a journey that mirrors a day on Earth. This rhythm embodies the perpetual motion between sunset and sunrise, where times and bodies can be stretched into infinite dimensions. As contemporary practitioners, we engage ourselves and the audience in a unique quest for co-existence on a specific site simultaneously at Wasserschloss Reelkirchen in Germany, Hangzhou in China, and online on June 7th and 8th, from noon to noon, for a collective reimagining of a day crossing timezones, traversing between the physical and the digital realms. As we navigate this day with bodies, technologies, rituals, props, and scenery, sense-making modes can only occur within a context and through interaction on a site of commonality.
