E tudo que resta é dizer... / And all that is left is to say...

E tudo que resta é dizer... / And all that is left is to say... draws on the legacy of sound systems, engaging their ethos of power, identity, resistance, and collective cultural expression. It addresses uneven global circulation of technology and access, a mobile sound system built entirely from found audio equipment and materials across Berlin. Activated by a curated playlist of Latin American street-culture rhythms, the system reveals its fragmented origins to construct a counter-narrative to dominant ideas of progress and innovation. As such, it functions as an archive, a space where the historical and material remnants become audible, reclaiming the sonic field for resistance and remembrance. Embracing the flaws of its components distortion, tonal imbalance, physical resonance aggregating them into core aspects of its sonic identity. Positioned at the intersection of sound, migration, waste, and colonial legacy, the installation is both a functioning sound device and a reflection on identity, value, and cultural expression.
