Prof. Dr. med. Katharina Schmitt (Charité) & Rebecca Raue (Ephra)

Prof. Dr. med. Katharina Rose Luise Schmitt (Deutsches Herzzentrum an der Charité, Germany), Professor of Pediatric Cardiology, head of research and teaching with main research areas: basic research in paediatric cardiac surgery, terminal heart failure and mechanical circulatory support, neurological and long-term outcome of children with a congenital heart defect, family-centered care and remote patient monitoring, digital medicine, advocate of children's rights in hospital.

Rebecca Raue is an artist and educator based in Berlin. Her works have been shown in various venues, among them Louvre Abu Dhabi and are represented in well-known collections such as the Deutsche Bundestag. Rebecca *1976 is the founder and artistic director of Ephra. In 2023 she curated the show „Gedanken spielen Verstecken, an adventurous art exhibition for kids and adults”. In May 2024 the catalogue about this show will be published by Hatje Cantz. A long time ago Rebecca has studied at UdK with Georg Baselitz and Rebecca Horn. https://www.rebeccaraue.de
