Oana Stănescu

Oana Stănescu is a Romanian architect and designer who is building, writing and teaching. Her work is an undisciplined collection of projects across various sizes, programs and collaborators, in the pursuit of the affect and effect of physical space. She is based in New York and Berlin, and current projects include the reconversion of a ½ km long funicular in Resita, Romania, a long house in Canada and an installation for a music festival. She is teaching at Harvard GSD and MIT in Cambridge, USA.
