Der Kurs soll dabei sowohl das Wie als auch das Wieso behandeln. Aspekte werden dabei die analoge Materialität, die Knappheit und die Herausforderung, kein instantanes Ergebnis zu sehen, sein. Nach einer Einführung wird in kleinen Gruppen je ein kurzer “Film” konzipiert, gedreht und geschnitten. Die Filme werden am letzen Termin präsentiert.

Vorkenntnisse in 16 mm Film sind nicht erforderlich.
Voraussetzung ist die Teilnahme an allen 4 Terminen.
Die Teilnehmerzahl ist limitiert auf 10 Studierende.

Introduction and experiment into the particularities of working with analogue 16mm film material and cameras

The course will cover both the how and the why. Aspects of the course will be the analog materiality, the scarcity and the challenge of not seeing an instant result. After an introduction, a short "film" will be conceptualised, shot and edited in small groups. The films will be presented at the last session.

Previous knowledge in 16 mm film is not required.
Participation in all 4 Meetings is required.
The number of participants is limited to 10 students.
