Tagung "Competition & Music"

Konkurrenz ist in der Welt der Musik weit verbreitet. Trotz wichtiger Publikationen in den letzten Jahren ist das Besondere an musikbezogenen Konkurrenzen allerdings noch nicht umfassend untersucht. Insbesondere fehlt es an Arbeiten, die konzeptuelle Ideen zu Konkurrenz, wie sie vor allem in der Soziologie diskutiert werden, und Fallstudien, wie sie die Musikwissenschaft bisher dominieren, zusammenbringen. Ziel der internationalen Konferenz ist es, die interdisziplinäre Diskussion über musikbezogene Konkurrenzen zu fördern.
