Scottish choreographer and performer Claire Cunningham is to become the Einstein Professor of „Choreography, Dance and Disability Arts“ at the Inter-University Centre for Dance (HZT) from the winter semester 2023/24.

At the Berlin University of the Arts, the artistic programmes fine arts, music and theater/performing arts can be studied for a teaching degree. Information on the teacher training programmes can be found here.

On the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women on November 25, 2022, the Women's* and Equal Opportunity Councils and administrations of the four arts-based universities in Berlin jointly declare their solidarity with the feminist revolution in Iran and stand up for equal rights, self-determination, and freedom.
