Marketing & Events – Working Student

Job posted · Location Berlin

Road transport is responsible for around 30% of global CO₂ emissions and is one of the hardest sectors to decarbonize.

At ELU Mobility, we're building the first AI operating system for electric road transport. Our platform coordinates vehicles, chargers, and energy in real time to ensure every electric truck is ready for its next route at the lowest possible cost.

Our platform is live with customers across Europe. Now we're scaling.

We're looking for a working student to work directly with the founding team on how ELU shows up in the world: our events, our brand, our website, and the processes behind all of it.

You'll own projects end to end and see what building a climate-tech startup actually looks like from the inside.

Kurz vorweg: Du solltest fließend Deutsch und Englisch sprechen.

What You'll Do

Events & Awards

  • Research trade fairs, conferences and startup awards, and recommend which ones are worth our time

  • Own registrations, applications, deadlines and the correspondence behind them

  • Plan the logistics — travel, booth, materials, scheduling — and come to the events with us

Content, Website & Brand

September 25, 2026

Marketing & Events - Working Student 1

This is a making role, not a scheduling role. The material we put out is material you'll have written, designed or built yourself.

  • Write our customer success stories end to end: talk to the customer, draft the story, get it live on the website

  • Build out and maintain the website: the careers page, new pages, keeping what's already there current

  • Own our LinkedIn presence: write the posts, follow industry conversations and engage where it builds our visibility

  • Write and send our newsletter

  • Create our merch and brand materials

Who You Are

You figure things out

Most of what we'll ask you to do, you won't have done before: your first award application, your first booth booking, your first customer story.

We don't expect you to arrive knowing how, but we do expect you to dig in yourself first and come back with a draft and your open questions.

The founding team is within arm's reach when you're stuck, but the first move is yours.

You work with AI

We build AI software and we use AI in our own work every day, whether that's research, drafting, design or automating something that shouldn't be manual.

We expect you to reach for it first, to know where it helps and where it doesn't, and to keep getting better at it.

If you've built something with it yourself, tell us about it.

You make things, and you have a feel for how they land

You can write a clean LinkedIn post, build a page that isn't confusing, and have opinions about design, whether that's a landing page or a hoodie.

You'd rather put a rough first version on the table than wait for a brief.

You keep track

A lot of this job runs on deadlines: award submissions, booth bookings, earlybird rates, application windows.

You stay on top of them without being reminded, and you leave a system behind rather than a pile of notes.

You care about the problem

Marketing & Events - Working Student 2

Climate, energy and transport are what we think about every day. It helps if they matter to you too.

You're fluent in German and English

Both.

Further European languages (French, Italian, Spanish, Polish, Dutch) are a plus.

You're enrolled (required)

Currently at university, at least 4th semester.

All fields welcome: business, psychology, marketing, humanities, engineering, sciences. Different perspectives make the team better.

The Details

Pay: €15/hour

Hours: 15–20 per week, flexible

Start: immediately or by arrangement

Location: Berlin office, with flexible remote options

Duration: ongoing, semester-based

Required: active university enrollment (for tax and legal reasons)

What You'll Get Out Of It

  • Close, daily collaboration with the founding team

  • Daily hands-on work with AI tools inside a company that builds them

  • A close-up view of an early-stage startup

  • The chance to build processes that outlast your time here

  • Real responsibility from week one

  • A possible full-time role after you graduate

Final Note

If this excites you but you don't check every box, apply anyway.

We care about ownership, craft and AI fluency more than a perfect CV.
